How to be sure (when you can’t be sure about anything)

Did you find yourself paralyzed or scrambling when COVID-19 hit? If so, you’re not alone. In a survey we conducted in June 2020, we found that 49% of senior brand marketers were dissatisfied with their COVID-19 responses.

The time for reaction has passed. The pandemic is a fact of life now. Some things might return to the way they were someday. Others won’t. No one can know for sure — but brands can’t wait for certainty that may never come.

Instead of focusing on reaction, focus on resilience.
